Tooth Fillings, Gretna, NE

Our dentists can prevent further decay with amalgam or composite tooth fillings.

Why Get Fillings?

Even with good oral hygiene, cavities can develop within teeth. When this occurs, the decay within the teeth needs to be removed to stop the disease process. We will remove all areas of decay, and replace them with a filling made of a silver alloy (amalgam) or composite resin.

Silver vs. Composite Fillings

What is the difference?

Composite Fillings:

Composite resin fillings have surged in popularity because their appearance matches the natural appearance of teeth.

Silver Fillings:

Amalgam fillings, on the other hand, have been shown to hold up better over time.

We would be happy to discuss the pros and cons of amalgam, or silver, vs. composite, or tooth-colored, fillings.
