Dr. Joe Ferrante
Dr. Ferrante combines advanced clinical training with a calm, compassionate approach to patient care. He takes time to understand each patient’s needs, explain their options, and help them feel confident about their treatment.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Ferrante earned his degree in Biochemistry from Villanova University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
He then completed a general practice residency with NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola, New York. His hospital-based training gave him valuable experience managing complex dental cases, dental emergencies, and facial trauma.
Today, Dr. Ferrante brings this experience to our Gretna dental practice, expanding the care we can provide under one roof. His areas of interest include root canals, crowns, wisdom teeth extractions, emergency dentistry, dental trauma, and restorative care.
For patients, that means more treatment options and greater convenience. Instead of automatically needing a referral to another office, many procedures can be completed right here by a dentist who already knows you and your dental needs.
Dr. Ferrante especially enjoys solving complex dental problems and guiding patients through treatment from start to finish. His experience with root canals, dental emergencies, mouth trauma, and surgical extractions helps our team care for more of your needs in one familiar location.

When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Ferrante enjoys skiing. He started skiing at a young age and continues to pursue the sport, always ready for another day on the slopes.
